When I first heard the name of this week's shop, I couldn't stop thinking and humming the song "you are my sunshine". Not surprisingly, Nina the Etsy shop owner of You Are My Sunshine named it for this very same nursery rhyme song. In her own words, she sets a beautiful setting....
When my sons were little, I would sing them to sleep with the nursery rhyme "You Are My Sunshine." Now that they are older, cuddles consist of discussions about anything and everything important to an eight and eleven year old.
Yet, as sleep overcomes them and their eyelashes finally fall onto their soft, smooth cheeks, their lips relax into innocent worry-less smiles and their ninja warrior/transformer gyrations settle into peaceful, lyrical sighs, I look at each one and still think, “yes, my love, you are my sunshine.”

When I did Nina's feature a few weeks ago, I found myself humming the song as well. I used to sing it, hum it, at times all day long while my girls were growing up.
Nina's shop certainly brings "Sunshine", with her bright products! Every piece she has is just so lovely, they are sure to bring some sunshine to anyones day :)
