Something Yummy

Charisma Cardz challenge #23 is to create a Something Yummy card. Using the QuicKutz cupcake die, Ranger inks, cross-stitch stamp, Pebbles Inc chalks, and clear Stickles, I came up with this yummy chocolate frosted cupcake card.

Splitcoast Stampers - Creative Images Challenge

Julia at Splitcoast Stampers has posted a challenge called Creative Images. She stated "Do you ever find yourself wanting to create a design along a certain theme but don’t have stamps or product that really captures it? The great way to get around that without running off the store is to create your own image. It’s really easier than you might think and today’s challenge will push you out of your box if this is something you have never tried. You can put an image together using punches, create a shaped card such as a flower to create your image, arrange brads or buttons to create an image or draw out your own and cut it out of cardstock."

I can't take credit for this design, that goes to Angie at Chic n' Scratch but here is my card for the challenge using a scallop punch, square punch, and circle punch.

So get out those punches and see what you can create!

June 2009 - Show Us Your SheetLoad Challenge

SheetLoad of Cards is having a June Challenge to take the June sketch and any Angel Company stamp or product and create a card. I created this butterfly card using Bazzill cardstock, Memory Makers pattern paper, Ranger inks, and the Angel Company's butterfly stamp.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Flutter By Sketchy Challenge

This week's Wednesday Challenge from Danni's Dreams is called Flutter By. Danni is challenging everyone to pick a sketch to create a card, along with the choice of a butterfly or fairy. To complete this challenge I chose sketch number 5 from the Sketch & Stash Challenge Blog along with an adorable butterfly stamp from the Angel Company.

Butterfly Boxes

Brenda (QBee) over at the SplitcoastStampers site has really impressed me. She posted a tutorial on butterfly boxes that I could not resist trying. It was so easy to do! I just printed the template on the back of a piece of card stock, cut it, stamped, and decorated. Here are the results:

Flower Pot Card

Lynn at SplitcoastStampers posted a challenge called Flower Pot cards that I knew I had to try out for myself. The tutorial is by Stephanie Luman and she has some wonderful directions to create this project which can be found here.
