Girl Onesie Mini Book

My brother-in-law's sister Julie is having a baby girl and I had to try my hand at making a baby onesie mini album for her. It took me a bit to get the rounded neck and leg openings to look just right, but I am ecstatic about the way things turned out.

I also made her a folded baby card with bookmark tags filled with nursery rhymes.

It was such a crowd pleaser that now I am working on making a few of the mini books and cards for our Etsy shop. I will definitely let everyone know when those get posted.

Baby Card

My baby cousin and his wife are going to be proud parents to little boy very soon. This weekend is the baby shower, which gave me an opportunity to get out my baby papers to create a card for the occassion.

I didn't want to make the traditional card, so I decided to play with a few folds and came up with this accordian pleated card filled with tags.

The front has a cute little giraffe

And the inside has 3 tags with nursery rhymes about Jack (the name they chose for the baby) and one tag with a message to the expect parents

I can't wait to give this card along with the gift on Sunday.

Crop Chocolate Chocolatier

I recently became a Crop Chocolate Chocolatier, which basically is a design team member for this online store. As part of the design team one of the requirements is to post pictures & a description of our creation to the Sweet Talk section once per quarter. The pictures are of projects we completed with products available from Crop Chocolate during the quarter.

It all started with this:

And here are the cards & layout I completed using the products from Memory Makers.

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge

I decided to take a challenge from one of my new favorite blog sites today. Dawn posted a great Raspberry Suite Color Challenge over on her My Favorite Things blog. The challenge was to take this color swatch and create a card.

I came up with the following card that I decided to send to a co-worker that has done some wonderful things for me while I was on vacation.
Sorry about the picture quality. I am still learning how to use my new digital camera. If I can get a better picture tomorrow, then I will repost.
